Dr. Traub is the Director of the clinic. He is a clinical psychologist licensed by the state of Florida. After graduating Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Florida, he earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Florida State University. He is listed in the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology, and in the National Distinguished Service Registry of Medical and Vocational Rehabilitation. He also serves on the vocational rehabilitation provider panel for the state of Florida.

He is a Diplomate in psychopharmacology of the International College of Professional Psychology, and is a member of the American Psychological Association, Florida Psychological Association, National Association of Professional Psychology Providers, American Academy of Pain Management, and American Board of Medical Psychotherapy. He is also certified by the American College of Professional Psychology in the treatment of alcohol and substance use disorders.

He has held past positions as Director of the Behavioral Medicine program at North Broward Medical Center, Director of the Behavioral Medicine rotation for an APPIC-accredited psychology internship program at the North Broward Neurological Institute, Director of psychology and of the multidisciplinary pain program at Sunrise Rehabilitation Hospital, and Chairman of the professional advisory board for the Epilepsy Association of Broward County.

He was also a teaching fellow at Florida State University, and an adjunct professor at Broward Community College. He has published articles and provided lectures and presentations in areas such as biofeedback, locus of control, fear of flying, intelligence testing, shyness, test-retest reliability of the Spanish MMPI, chronic pain, and stress.
